View is not a figment of assessors -- it is clearly market driven. Keep reading, and then contact your legislator and tell them what the facts are.  Otherwise, Mr. Thompson may get them to pass a law to remove the value of view from the assessment process, thereby eliminating the fair and equitable requirement of the law for a few taxpayers while the silent majority gets stuck paying more than their fair share. 

Fight for what is right.  Assessments are by current law based on fair market value.  Don't let a loud minority convince the legislature to act unfairly.
