How would you feel if you owned the
property on the left and I owned the property on the right and we were assessed the same contributory value for the view?
Are these two properties equitably assessed given the prior sales data?

Assessors, by law, must consider all aspects that affect market value, and view is one that varies dramatically.
Examples of all variations of view are rarely demonstrated in the local sales data.
As such, assessors are called upon to use not only the limited sales data but their experience and common sense to develop equitable assessments.
