In the past several months, there has been a great deal of discussion in New Hampshire about property taxes, property assessments, and more specifically the contributory values of views in assessments and their impact on local tax payers.  Unfortunately, this discussion in newspapers and on radio programs has generated an extraordinary amount of misinformation, characterized most notably by the contention made by some that there is a new "View Tax".
